I have triangular point symbology in ArcGIS Pro 2.9.2, and they need to show a letter (based on an attribute) in the center. I tried doing a shape symbol layer with text, but it seems you can use attributes for that. So I instead am using a label to fill in the letter.
The issue, which you can see below, is the label is not displaying in the center of the triangle. To attempt to fix this, I've adjusted the position of the Y anchor point (see second screenshot). But this moves the point symbol as well as the label.
How do I adjust only the symbol, but not the label?

So in making this post, I saw the "Offset Distance" option, which seems to have resolved my issue. I've now set the Anchor point positions back to 0, and instead moved the Offest Y to 2 pt. You can see the difference.
