Point features not showing up in attributes table

I have a few point labels I need to change say from "171" to "170".  I am missing 3 of the points in the attributes table.  I was able to change 5 of them.  The 3 I am missing are displayed on the map, but missing from the attributes table.  How do I fix this?

What happens if you select the feature and click attributes?

Do you get the option to edit the attribute this way?

Maybe the selected features are in a different layer? Select the features on the map and change the Contents pane to List by selection to see which layers currently have a selection.
