Hi, community,

I made some changes in some pop-ups for a map that is already published online and is also part of a web app.

I made the changes in ArcGIS Pro, but the sharing/overwrite web layer is disabled. Any ideas why is that?

I am using my private Professional account. I am the administration and I made those layers myself.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Isabelle,

Are you signed in to your active portal? If you hover over the button, you should get a message indicating why it is disabled.

Also, if you are looking to update a web map with your changes, you might want to save the web map instead.

Best,

Jonah

Thanks for the info @JonahLay! I finally managed to make my changes directly with AGO. What I don't understand is why I don't have publishing privileges as I am the administrator and the only user of the platform.

Also, I am signed in to my account.

Hi Isabelle,

Another thing to check is that you are sharing/overwriting from a map and not a layout.
