- I'm very new to GIS and Arc. I am struggling with modelbuilder. I am taking on a project out of curioisty to broaden my personal development. I'm an avid aviation geek and am curious how I would build a tool in model builder to create and designate landing zones for any vertical take off aircraft In the event of an emergency in my local area. I am aware there is a landing zone designator tool however I want to run through the motions myself to create something similar myself.
Whats steps should I take to create this tool? Thus far I've only included clipping of vector data to a buffer of my interested area.
