While following an online Esri notebooks training course I have come across the following issue in ArcGIS Pro 3.2. The map widget is just showing a blank box and isn't displaying any data. It isn't even displaying the zoom/compass buttons in the top left corner. I need to use a proxy to access ArcGIS Online through ArcGIS pro, which I have done and is working.

I have managed to run the same code successfully using an ArcGIS Pro 3.3 instance that is running outside my organisational network.

So I am not sure if the problem lies with my organizations IT/network infrastructure or with my instance of ArcGIS Pro 3.2.I can't update my main 3.2 instance to 3.3 at this time. I wonder if anyone has any ideas on how to troubleshoot the problem with the 3.2 instance further.
