Making polygons more distinguishable than other (Pro)

Hello,

I am curious as to what techniques in Pro could help certain polygons appear to jump off the page compared to others. For example, if I had 10 polygons but I wanted 3 to appear higher or float compared to other how would I go about doing this? Perhaps shadowing, although I am not really sure how to do this in Pro.
