Hello,

I am unable to export a layout in ArcGIS Pro 3.1.0. I keep getting the message "Export Failed."

I have read some posts here on this subject, and do have the color management enabled. I am using display filters, but I don't see how that would affect exporting the layout. I don't know what  ".NET Desktop Runtime" is,  and don't know if this is still affects exporting.

Thanks for your help,

Jamie

Hi Jamie - what format are you exporting to?  If JPG, then this technical support document may help - Problem: Unable to Export Layouts to JPEG Files in ArcGIS Pro (esri.com)

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your reply. I need to export the layout as a PDF but I will take a look at your document, as it may help in the future. 🙂

I believe this is BUG-000157970 - "Export layout results in an error “ Export Failed” using ArcGIS Pro 3.1 and above" and was resolved at ArcGIS Pro 3.1.2.

Are you able to update ArcGIS Pro to a higher version?  This will likely fix the export issue.

@Robert_LeClair One of our staff is having the same issue with 3.2.4 so looks like the bug is back? Trying to export a PDF, followed all the suggestions in the past posts as @JamiePearlstein did.

Sorry to hear this bug is rearing it's head again.  So I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.4.0, exported to PDF and JPG, and did not get an "export failed" warning message.  Is it possible to upgrade to the latest version of ArcGIS Pro?
