Identify local maxima over a large area

The below raster illustrates a focal statistics conversion of a DEM to identify maximum height of individual trees. Using the 'Find Local Peaks or Valleys' tools I can then create a point feature class which gives the tree height.
The only problem: this tool is limited to identifying 100 peaks in total. As a result, several of the trees don't have an associated point for their maximum value.
Can anybody suggest an alternative tool which would read out a point for each tree top in this raster?
