Software - ArcGIS Pro 3.0.3
I have a point shape file that contains data for several different fish I have been tracking using radio telemetry. The points are locations where I have found each fish over a year span. Each fish is assigned a number (1 - 100), and has multiple location points (ie Fish #5 has coordinates for January, March, April, December, etc). I would like to make each individual fish into it's own feature to make it easier to look at the path between each location point, the ultimate goal being to create a movement pattern for each fish showing where they were located throughout time. However, I don't want to spend the time making 100 different features. Is there a way that I can create multiple features at once?
Thank you in advance and sorry if I'm using the wrong terminology, I've just started on my GIS journey.
TLDR: How can I separate lots of points in a shape file into their own features faster
