I have added a 'measured grid' to my page layout, and rather than gridlines, I am trying to show only the intersection points with a + symbol.
However, the symbols don't respect the map's rotation, and always have the same angle.
The angle alignment is set to Map, but I'm not entirely sure this does what I think it should do.
Is this possible at all?
I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.5

have your tried rotating the symbols directly?
Rotating the symbol isn't the problem, but keeping it in sync with the map rotation is.
That is, I can set the symbol's rotation to 45° to go from + to ×, but then it will always be shown as ×, even if the map rotation is, say, 60°
