How to define the coordinate system of a layer while working in catalog of ArcGIS Pro,

It appears that properties pane of a layer while working with the catalog of ArcGIS Pro doesn’t have tools to define\assign\choose a coordinate system. Is the only way out to do so is with through the geoprocessing tools?

Correct.  The way to set a coordinate system for a feature class is through geoprocessing.

Do esri Pro Dev have in their plan to include more functionalities when right clicking a feature class on the Catalog?

It appears that right clicking a feature class in 2.3 still has no function as in ArcMap. For example, clear option is not there

True.  That piece of ArcMap functional equivalency is not there.  I quickly scanned the ArcGIS Ideas page but did not see anything there.  Hopeful this functionality is included in a future AGP release.

Many thanks Robert. I hope it will get available in in 2.4

2+ years and 4 versions later and this still hasn't been added to the software.

Does anyone know if this has been implemented?
