I am using ArcGIS Pro on my desktop, and I am trying to draw a rectangle around an area. I have opened the Geoprocessing Pane, searched for Extract Multi Values to Points, and opened the tool. When I select "Draw Extent" my pointer stays as a finger, and zooms in and out when I click in an attempt to make the rectangle, and I am unable to actually create a rectangle. I have tried Ctrl+Z, closed ArcGIS Pro and reopened the project, and checked my licensing to ensure I have the spatial analysis tool. Does anyone know what should I do? I am at a roadblock here unable to continue my work..
When you click the Pencil dropdown for the Draw Extent, you should be presented with 4 options - points, lines, polygons and multipatch. When I click polygons, a blue box below the Input point features parameter opens and, like creating new features, provides numerous "construction tools" to create the draw extent polygon. I click the polygon construction tool and then am able to draw an extent polygon. See image below. Do you see the same?
