Grid keeps deselecting itself with every change?

Hello, I'm trying to edit an MGRS grid and almost every click or change causes the grid to unselect.  For example, changing the x/y interval will immediately close the grid menu and leave me with a "Select an Element" screen.  I'm very baffled by this behavior, is this normal or a bug?

ArcPro update fixed it!  disregard but I'll leave this here for someone else in the same situation.  Thanks!
