I recently had one of my coworkers make some edits to a feature class and add a couple of new feature classes within a file geodatabase. for some reason when I went to verify the work that was done, the edits and the new feature classes were not displaying. I was only able to access them after adding a new connection to the file gdb. I did have the .gdb set as the default for the .aprx, but I don't see why that should cause an issue.

Is there any logical explanation as to why this occurred?

There was a non-reproducible bug (BUG-000128450) reported at ArcGIS Pro 2.4.3 but Esri Support Services was not able to reproduce.

The customer stated this workflow to reproduce:
- Launch File Explorer and navigate to a folder in your network drive.
- Copy the folder location and navigate back to ‘This PC’.
- Click on ‘Map network drive’ and enter the folder location to create a mapped network drive
- Access the folder location through the mapped network drive, copy the location and create a folder connection in ArcGIS Pro.
- Create a File geodatabase inside the folder in ArcGIS Pro
- Create a line feature class inside the File geodatabase.
- Import the newly created feature class in the map > ‘Edit’ > ‘Create’ > create new features.
- The features are not visible on the map.
- Click on the ‘save’ button to save the changes and zoom out of the map.
- The features are now visible.

What release of ArcGIS Pro are you using and is this your workflow (or similar?)
