Feature Class Decimal Places Not Carrying over to Feature Linked Annotation

Hello,

I have a layer with feature linked annotation for acreage. The "acres" field in the feature class (FC) is set to 2 decimal places, however, when I add a new feature, the annotation displays with 12 decimal places. The FC and Annotation attribute tables are shown below. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
