Exporting interpolation maps in Geo Tiff gives weird values

Hi everyone,

 

I did sone interpolation analyses in ArcMap. I need to export the maps in a Geo TIFF file to extract data from the TIF file in R and model the habitat of animals.

For some reasons, the values extracted in the raster Geo Tiff are ranging between 0-255, while my values are ranging btw 0.1 and 34.0. I tried several procedures in ArcMap, including this one:

  1. Add the raster to a blank mxd.
  2. Go to File > Export  Map.
  3. In the Export Map dialog, under Save as type, select TIFF.
  4. In the Options section, General tab, check Write World File, highlighted in the image below.
  5. On the Format tab, check Write GeoTIFF Tags and click Save, as shown in the following image.
 

Can some one assist me whit that?
