Elevation Profiles of Lidar data Using Exploratory Analysis

Hi all I am having an issue with trying to get coastal elevation profiles from ArcGIS Pro 2.8 using the Exploratory Analysis tool. The Lidar I am using is 1m grid size yet Arc samples every 0.1 meters approximately which causes issues when I try and plot this data with the exported CSV file see below. the smooth lines is from historic surveys whilst the stepped lines are from the Lidar Elevation profiles taken in ArcGis Pro. Its there away for the elevation profile tool to only provide data when there is an elevation change? Thanks
