Double click to open table from Contents

Currently, double clicking on an item in the contents pane opens the Layer properties. That's nice and all, but I frequently have to review a layer's table or even a table's table 😉 and I would like to be able to change the double click action from opening Properties to opening table.

Any thoughts on how to do this?

PS I know about Crtl-T  to open the table! I'm really just curious about changing the result of a double left click action!

Thanks!

Hi @DanPatterson thanks for your reply. I'd found that little bit of documentation, but I'll be darned if I can find anything relating to how mouse clicks are interpreted. I'm reasonably happy with the Crtl+T to get the table, but for some reason double clicking on a layer to get properties seems like a wasted opportunity. But I'm probably biased because of my needs for this particular case.

Maybe someone else out there has an idea!
