I am working in an attribute table in ArcGIS Pro. When using the 'Custom Sort' on the fields in the attribute table, the custom sort window is very small and looks like the attached picture.
I am on a laptop and a portable monitor. I have tried using custom sort on my three screen setup at home (two larger monitors and the laptop screen) and custom sort looks perfectly fine.
Not sure if anyone else has run into this problem before, my best guess is that it has something to do with the resolution of the screens?
I am having this same issue. Did you get it resolved? If so, what did you do? Thank you!
I'm also having this issue on one of my computers.
I have a call with ESRI support next week. I will let you know how this is resolved...unless you figure it out before i do! 🙂
Ok, I had the issue at my home docking station again. This was the resolution from ESRI support. It worked for me:
-Close any instances of ArcPro
-Navigate to C drive
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ESRI <-- rename the ESRI folder to "ESRI1"
-Next navigate to
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Esri <-- rename Esri folder to "Esri1"
-Click OK. Open up ArcPro and see if that soft reset works.
Thank you! I had this same issue and was just about to contact support when I saw your post. This worked for me as well, so I really appreciate it.
I would say one caveat is that it resets all preferences, which I should have thought about first. Unfortunately a lot of leg work to set those up again (especially the saved color swatches). Otherwise, I'm glad I can actually use the sort dialog again!
It was pretty random, glad it helped you as well!
