Is there no option to use Custom Layout Templates in ArcGIS Pro?  We have put a lot of time into designing custom MXD templates and it seems that they are not accessible in ArcGIS Pro.

Hello,

As Joe mentioned previously you can click on the Insert tab then choose the Import Map option to bring in an MXD.

I am just getting to grips with ArcPro and have produced a Layout File (i.e. template) on the Share tab from within a project.

The issue I am having is, when importing the layout file, all the text boxes I have created are showing oversized in comparison to what I originally produced. I am also seeing varying extents across map frames (even though they are set at the same scale)!

If you have any suggestions I would be very grateful!

Jodie

Hi Jodie,

We haven’t seen any examples of this before.  Would it be possible for you to contact technical support and share a copy of your .mxd and .pagx file with them?

Thanks,

David
