Creating a Feature Class with filter that is connected to the original Feature

I am using Enterprise Geodatabase and I would like to create a copy of an existing feature class based on a filter/query. I would like this newly created feature to be connected to its parent feature; this way anytime data is changed/updated it should reflect dynamically in the new feature class.

What is the best way to accomplish this?
