Hi guys,

I've imported Revit dataset into the scene with local Swiss coordinates and used define projection to place it properly. The rest of datasets and map should stay in WGS 1984 Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere).

Now, I know that when all of the data in one scene is not within one coordinate system, then software and refreshing is really, really slow.

So my question is - can I convert that dataset from Revit (the one with local coordinate system) to WGS 84 instead of using define projection tool? Is that possible within ArcGIS Pro?

My goal is to have all of the elements with WGS 84, so the project runs fast.

Please see attachment if something is not clear.

You have to use the Project tool to make a new file in the coordinate system you desire.  You cannot "define" something that it isn't.
