I just upgraded to ArcGIS Pro 3.0 and now I can't open existing files created in 2.9. Any help would be appreciated.

Updating the Microsoft Access Database driver solved all of my issues with this. Link to solution below:

Thanks, this works for me. I just update Microsoft Access Database driver: (https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/excel/prepare-to-work-with-excel-in-arcgis-pro.ht...).

Same here.  I can get a few to open, but many others will not.

This has now become a big issue for me.  Is there any information out there about it?

Hi,

This kind of issue needs to be looked at by a technical support analyst. Please open a case with them through the contact link here https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support

Please provide as much details as you can about your installation as well as which projects seem to be affected. They can do a screenshare with you to investigate further.

thanks,

Andrew

Thank you. I did that and the issue is resolved. The problem was the Microsoft Access Database driver.

I am also unable to open any of my existing workspaces in ArcGIS Pro 3.0.

Runs through the 'upgrade' phase then gets stuck in an infinite 'loading' loop.

Have run ArcGIS Pro in administrative mode and allowed the loading phase to run for over 24 hours with no change.

Turns out I simultaneously had Microsoft Access Database 2010 and 2016 installed.

Uninstalling both and reinstalling 2016 appears to have solved the issue.
