Can you filter Portal content by category in Catalog View?

Hi,

When signed into AGOL and looking through Living Atlas content in the Catalog View in Pro I get the option to filter by category (as shown in the image here).

When signed into Portal 10.6.1 I don't get the same option to filter my own content by category. Organization and group categories have been set up but they're nowhere to be seen in Catalog View - is this what you'd expect or am I missing something?

The answer as of Oct 2024 Pro version 3.3 is no - not really. In the Arc Pro catalog pane you can add a category filter but as soon as you enter search text, the category filter is ignored. If you have already applied a search string the 'Categories' will no longer appear in the filter options. If you are browsing portal content via a web browser the category filter can be used in combination with search string as you would expect.
