Hi there,

I’m struggling to find a tool that will generate the angle between two points relative to true north. I’m using telemetry data and I have a reference point (center pond) and a bunch of initial foray points around the edge of the pond. I’m trying to calculate the angle between the center pond point and each of the initial foray points relative to the azimuth. The foray points and center pond point are on different layers, but I can add the center pond point onto the other layer. Is there a tool that will generate the angle for me?

Generate Near Table (Analysis)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

because you have 2 layer and you can determine geodesic values

calculating angles is easy if your data are in a projected coordinate system, but the trick would be to reference the values to true north.

Try the builtin tools first to see if it is appropriate
