Calculate Attribute Rule - Evaluation Order

We have the below 2 immediate calculation rules specified on the same layer, both are executed by an Insert Trigger. I wasn't able to find anything definitive in the Attribute Rules docs, about evaluation order. 

Does rule "update_trans_table" wait for rule "update_last_known" to fully finish before execution? 

i.e. can we assume that rules are executed in order, one at a time?
