Hi there,
I am trying to project 50m lines along a known bearing from a known point ( x and y coordinates) using the Bearing Distance to Line tool. I have used this tool previously with no issues, but when I run it with my current data it returns "Error "000072: Cannot process feature with OID 1".
I have gone to the ESRI Support page and followed their recommendation of running the Repair Geometry tool but I still get the same error after doing so. They then suggest "For the second case, review the skipped record in the input and make sure all required fields have valid values; then run the tool again". As far as I can tell all required fields have valid values. They are in the same format as other datasets that have worked previously with the tool. Further to this, I have tried using old data that previously worked with this tool and it now doesn't work. and returns the same error...
Can anyone explain to me further what Error 000072 means? Or give any guidance>
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Is it a table in a locally stored geodatabase?

I am more concerned that the angles are slightly different from the same origin. If the angle specification was identical and the coordinates
Hi JamesKirk1,
When you get that error, you can click the link to view the description and solution. In your case it's more likely that some values might be invalid. If possible could you please share a repro data here? Also please show how you ran the tool, including all the parameters you used so we can take a look. Thanks!
