Hello,

I need a basemap with no labels.  In the Vector Tile Style Editor, there are a lot of maps that claim to have no labels, but they all do!  When I try to locate the annotation layers in these "no label" basemaps, I cannot find them, even though they must exist somewhere.  I would like to use the Modern Antique style, but I'll use whatever works.  I want no street names, no place names, no text of any kind.

Sorry if this is something that should be obvious.  I've spent a bit of time trying to figure it out, with no luck.

Thanks!

Amy

And you're working in Pro? Do you possibly have another basemap displayed beneath this layer, with its reference layer displayed on top? If viewing this layer in ArcGIS Online, you have to make sure that you add it as a basemap and not just an ordinary layer.

Hi Holly,

I appreciate the suggestion.  But when I checked it out, I see all sorts of text and labels, and the whole map is super washed out.  Again, it's probably something I'm doing wrong...?

Thanks,

Amy

That's it!  I had a basemap beneath it showing through.  Thank you for your help!  🙂
