ArcGIS Pro Crashes When Using Reshape Editing Tool on Parcel Polygon

Dear Esri Support Team,

I am writing to report an issue I have encountered with ArcGIS Pro (ArcGIS Pro 3.3.1)

Whenever I start an editing session and select the "Reshape" editing tool to work on a parcel polygon, the application crashes immediately upon activation. I have attempted this process multiple times, but the crash persists.

For reference, my coworker within the same organization uses the same version of ArcGIS Pro, working on the same file and with the same tools, and does not experience any crashes or issues with the "Reshape" tool.

I would appreciate any guidance or solutions you can provide to resolve this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional information or diagnostic logs.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi @SarmenBajari

Where is the data coming from? Have you compared locally stored data (so not in a shared drive) to data that is coming from ArcGIS Online?

Does your machine meet the specification for ArcGIS Pro 3.3.x and has this ever happened in the past?

ArcGIS Pro 3.3 system requirements

When ArcGIS Pro crashes it should produce a crash dump file in this location is that the case?

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ESRI\ErrorReports

Where are the ArcGIS crash dump files saved when an error report is generated?

I would recommend opening a support case with your distributor so it can be investiagted further. Other things to consider:

1. Is it happening in the latest version?

2. Did it happen before?

3. Avoid using the same file at the same time.

4. Soft Profile reset

5. Can you log into their machine and try the same workflow?

Based on your description it sounds like it might be machine specific

Can you try the same operation on a different machine or have the other user try the same operation on your machine?

This could help to determine if the machine or profile is the problem.
