ArcGIS Pro 3.6 backup projects now named *.aprx.tmp

Seeing as some of the instability of 3.5 has carried over to 3.6, I have had a need to avail myself of the automatically created backups in .backup/

As there is an issue with 3.5 and reliably telling you there is a backup, I am now in the habit of copying the aprx in .backup out to another folder as Pro will delete it once it opens the main project (after not telling you there is a backup => Schrödinger's Backup?).

This morning, after a hard crash following a CTRL-C copy of a layer, I ventured to .backup only to find a .aprx.tmp file.

I copied that elsewhere and renamed it to .aprx and it opened fine.

To note - it was created just before the crash and contains stuff not yet saved in the main .aprx

I have had a look through the 3.6 Release Notes but this change from .aprx to .aprx.tmp isn't mentioned anywhere I could find.

Question - Is this change documented somewhere. What else was changed but not documented?
