After I updated to 3.4, I've been getting frequent crashes when opening an existing project file for an operation, I'm not sure which operation is causing the crash, but the operation before each crash is different. It has crashed three times in the last hour and I have sent reports for all of them. Does anyone know of a potential cause of the crashes for me to avoid?

Good news, I found the reason for the crashes.

I used the newest function of "work with legend patches", and I converted a polygon to a graphic then I saved it as a legend patch. And I used this new patch for my legend and save projects, but an unknown reason trigger this crash. so I had to use another computer which version is 3.3 to remove my features in the contents and save the project. when i open the project on my PC again, it doesn't crash again.

So, the reason for the crash is the new function----work with legend patches. Please fix it ASAP.

Hi @Alvis_D, it will be best to log a tech support case so they can officially submit this bug.  The development team will then be notified to implement a fix.

I didn't have any issues with crashing.  It was causing my windows explorer to hang as well. By hang in mean I could move the windows around but not left or right click.  At first I thought it was an issue with windows so when through SFC and DISM, but ultimately reverting back to 3.3 cleared all my issues.  Screenshots are from my reliability history tool.

Whenever I try selecting or calculating a field Windows freezes and I have to restart my computer. Going to revert to 3.3 now.

I’m sure you’ll be right as rain. It fixed my things. Still going strong with no windows issues since revert.

I have just upgraded to ArcGIS Pro 3.4 and my software has also been crashing. For me it usually happens when trying to edit a fairly busy polygon. I can make about 3 edits then it crashes (and of course any unsaved edits get lost in the process). This happens in both the existing project as well as if I try to edit it in a new empty project. As suggested above I will revert to 3.3 and hopefully this will solve my issue.

Yes! Many crashes, not only this new function but also other processes would trigger crashes, such as you mentioned, I also met today.

Although the ESRI technique supporters were touch me frequently, they still didn’t solve this problem, maybe I have to backwards to 3.3.

Also experiencing several issues with ArcGIS Pro since updating to 3.4. Mostly happens when opening a new project or changing symbology. The latter seems to be a problem that goes back several years and keeps resurfacing every so often. Hopefully they'll have a solution soon.
