I just ran the current update for ArcGIS Pro and got 3 error messages, all 1904 codes about 3 dll that failed to register: DIDatasource.dll (HRESULT -1247220473), DIToolbox.dll (HRESULT -2147220473), and DIToolboxUI.dll (HRESULT -2147220473). Full error text is "Error 1904. Module 😧 Error 1904. Module D:\ArcGIS Pro\DIDatasource.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147220473. Contact your support personnel." I have a personal account and don't have "support personnel". Suggestions or assistance on these errors and how to resolve them? Thanks!

My guess is that the "DI..." file names in the error are related to Data Interop extension?

Do you have that installed and/or licensed?

Hi, there was a patch for Data Interoperability at 2.4.1 and yes the three DI* files are related, we're looking into this.

Hello,

sorry you are having this issue, but to help I have a couple questions.

Do you have the Data interoperability Extension installed on your machine?  If yes can you tell me the order you installed things?

Below is options page in Pro which tells you if you have the extension on your machine.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the response and the photo so I knew where to look to answer

your question.

I have a personal subscription to ArcGIS through Esri, which I had to

purchase when my access expired through my employer (long story).

Apparently, a personal subscription does NOT have any extensions included

in it or, if it does, I somehow messed up my installation.

Here's what I see.

So, this raises the question for me about what extensions I am supposed to

have with a personal subscription.

In any case, are all 3 dll's tied to the Data Interoperability extension?

As for the order of install, I simply went to check for updates through

ArcGIS Pro and clicked install then the installer went to work. The order

the error messages came in is the order I have the images from top to

bottom. So, the first error message was for DIDatasource.dll, the second

was for DIToolbox.dll, and the third was for DIToolboxUI.dll.

Thanks!
