Very often, my UI hangs indefinitely, and I have to force quite and reload. When this happens, I always see this in the diagnostic monitor:
ArcGIS.Desktop.Mapping.MappingModule.SignOnStatusChanged
Alternating with
ArcGIS.Desktop.Mapping.MappingModule.InitMapAndSceneDefaults
My monitor will show these two messages alternating indefinitely, and no amount of waiting has ever resolved this.
Can anyone explain what this is? Contrary to what the text would suggest, my signed in status to my active portal usually has not changed. When I force quite and reload, I'm still signed in. While most of the UI hangs, I can still access the Python window and do things like save my project.
