How to apply a specific color (e.g., no color) to the outline in symbology unique values? I want to do this for a specific class.

Hi

One method to use is:

  1. In Symbology, double click on the symbol of the class that you are interested in.
  2. A new window will open with the options "Gallery" and "Properties" (if your feature is for example a polygon, the heading in the centre should read "Format Polygon Symbol...").
  3. Select "Properties" and under "Appearance", you will see options for "Color", "Outline color" and "Outline width".
  4. You will be able select a colour for the outline using the drop-down box adjacent "Outline color".
  5. Click "Apply".

I hope that this helps you.

Regards,

Alka

When I double-clicked on the symbol of the class, no new window was opened. Instead, another color is assigned to the polygon. Is there a solution?

In the Symbology pane, once you click on the symbol, "Format Polygon Symbol" pane comes up. Click on its Properties tab, and you can see the option for Outline Color.
