Add to display from model builder does not work when I open the model

Hello,

I am able to add the results of a ModelBuilder script to an ArcGIS Pro map when I open up the edit dialog box and run the script.  However, if I open the tool then the results are not added to the map.

Is there any reason why the results show up when I run the tool through the edit model dialog and not when I open the tool?

The output has to be a model parameter to be added to the display.  In the model, right click on the output feature class and select model parameter.  Save the model and rerun in the GP pane.
