make a 'query rememberator' so querys can be remembered/stored and re-used
(not just saved out to a file)
this would apply to sql queries, definition queries, label classes, cal files - etc...
maybe point to a folder where they are stored as individual .txt/.cal files with titles to help select them from a drop down pick list (and ability to edit the pick list)

For the part about the pick list of queries to choose from, you may want to join the discussion at https://community.esri.com/ideas/2358‌.  It could be an interesting design consideration.

Since this idea was posted, ArcGIS Pro has implemented the ability to define multiple definition queries on a layer, name them, and switch the active query using a drop-down list that shows the query names.

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/definition-query.htm

I realize that definition queries is just one of "sql queries, definition queries, label classes, cal files - etc..." but wanted to make note of it as possible.

Merged from a separate idea.

Select By Attributes

It would be helpful to see a list of recent selections I made as a drop-down in the Select By Attributes window. I'd be able to choose a past selection expression and load it/run it.

I'm aware that I can manually save and load SQL expression files. As well as save and load definition queries. But that's different from an easy-to-use, automatically-generated list of past expressions from the current Pro session.

Definitely a good idea, it would be great to see that co-located with the attribute selection tools.

As of (at least 3.2 but maybe earlier?) the geoprocessing history does capture select by attributes, though I believe you need to do it from the ribbon as opposed to the attribute table, but I may be wrong about that.

It isn't exactly what you're looking for, but you can pop those open and copy-paste the SQL query.

@KoryKramer Yes, looks like mine is a duplicate.
