I have had the requirement to create a relationship class between tables in ArcGIS 10 via the use of an intermediate table, i.e. translating the primary fields within the feature class attribute table and an Access database table which has been imported into a geodatabase, with one to many and many to many relationships. Currently ArcGIS does not allow a relationship class between more than two tables, but if the two tables do not have identical unique identifiers, the relationship is impossible. Access allows relationships between tables using an intermediate table. Similar functionality would be helpful in an ArcGIS geodatabase environment.
