As mentioned in Consistent extents notation in FC properties and GP tools:
The Register with Geodatabase tool does not have an extent parameter, rather it is the type envelope which doesn't support the same things as an extent. It would be beneficial to have easier ways of populating the extent when registering a spatial view or spatial table with the GDB.
Could the parameter type be changed from envelope to extent in the Register with Geodatabase geoprocessing tool?
