ModelBuilder hides geoprocessing configuration panels when clicking into another view. This makes setting them up pretty tricky: for example, if I navigate over to my fields view to copy a field name, the window where I'd like to paste is suddenly gone. I have to then click back into the ModelBuilder window before selecting the box for pasting. Please don't hide the window I'm working in.
