Keep ModelBuilder tool configuration panels visible when using other views/panes

Right now if you're working in ModelBuilder and have a GP tool configuration panel open, it disappears as soon as you select a different view. The request is to keep these windows visible so you can easily reference and manipulate them when working in other views/panes. Otherwise, you have to always click back into the MB window to get it to appear every single time.
Ex. MB window active:
Fields (or any other) view active - tool disappears:
