It would save a ton of time if the Export Layer Style that exists in ArcMap was included in Pro
What does that look like in ArcMap? I've never used it, but in Pro there are numerous ways to save the way a layer is styled.
You mention Export Layer Style but I don't see a command for that in ArcMap. I see Export Map Styles
Is that the command you're referring to? If so, this is a duplicate of https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/arcgis-pro-quot-export-map-styles-quot-for-bulk/idi-p...
Please let us know!
@AriLukas can you see my Needs Clarification comment from above and let us know if the Export Map Styles is what you're referring to? Thanks
Closing this pending further clarification. It sounds like this is a duplicate of https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/arcgis-pro-quot-export-map-styles-quot-for-bulk/idi-p...

This feature eliminates confusion and won't helps users to reuse symbols with the actual names of their respective class/subtype. Exporting classes with the same name of layer is unhelpful. Anyone try this update of Save a style file?
Below in my example all the subtypes' classes have been exported with the same layer name:
