I'm working with a dataset that I didn't make and I really only care about a few fields but don't want to delete the ones I am not interested in in case they come into play. However, there are issues with the domain and I don't really have the time to investigate nor do I care to fix it right now. However, this warning that covers the entire upper part of the pane pops up every single time I click, select, or edit, even if I've hit the X for that particular selection - extremely annoying especially on a laptop screen. Tried 'hiding' the fields from the fields view and that doesn't work either, seems to only hide them from attribute table. This should be dismissable for the entire session, thanks.
Thank you for the question. At this time, it is not possible to turn off notifications. I am changing this Question to an Idea so we can track it internally. This is a known enhancement request.
This is more related to the idea linked below which has been marked as implemented but it was related to only one sort of notification. I can't find any other ideas about this so thought if you are going to look at notifications it might be good to look wider than just the specific example in a idea.....

I keep getting a notification for every time I select by attribute. I don't know if this is new thing - I'm sure I wasn't getting it before - like last week. I'm on 3.5.3 but I upgraded a few weeks ago. Maybe I haven't done many selections since then so I didn't notice but....
Why do I have to be notified every time I select by attribute? I know I've selected by attribute. I set up the selection and hit the apply button. Honestly some of these notifications are irrelevant.
I selected the option to stop the notifications for this session and it seemed to work for a while but what does a session mean? I work on a remote desktop and I went and did some stuff on my other computer. When I came back these notifications started popping up again and I can't seem to stop them again.
Below is the notification.
