An option to sort database items by different categories would be helpful. Like when a database has a lot of content and you want the most recent items to show at the top.
Hello @Ed_ ,
If I understand your suggestion correctly, this functionality is already offered in ArcGIS Pro. You can sort items in a geodatabase in the Catalog view, by Name, Type, Geometry, Date Modified, and so on. The following example shows the items shorted by Date Modified, with items most recently modified on top:
You can click any column heading to sort the items, and you can click that column heading again to reverse the sort direction, or you can use the Sort options dropdown to adjust your sort option and direction:
You can also do this sorting in a browse dialog.
I hope this helps. If this is not what you had in mind, please clarify.
Thank you for your feedback!
@NaicongLi thank you for the detailed feedback. I think it would be beneficial to have the sort options under the catalog pane as well.
