I am a geologist and use the free hand and curve tools with a mouse to contour maps. It would be more convenient to use a stylus on a touch screen to facilitate the art of contouring, which is a form of scientific art. Will this work or could ESRI modify 10.5.1 to perform this task?

Feather Wilson‌ Have you already looked into using the Tablet toolbar?

No, but I have just ordered a stylus tool and I spoke to an ESRI representative and he walked me through free hand feature tool.

When I receive the stylus, I will begin to experiment.

This is a map that I created with the mouse, which is very difficult,

Great.  Please do follow up on this thread to let us know how it goes!

I wasn't able to see any screenshot in the previous comment...

I have not received my stylus yet but I opened ArcGIS and opened the curve

tool with my finger and drew a crude curve.

So I think this might work.

This is the map that I previously created with a mouse.

Hi! Just wanted to say that I too would love it if there was tablet stylus support in arcigs pro for the same exact workflow. Drawing contours in is a scientific art, @FeatherWilson , and we would benefit so much if we were able to draw our conoturs with a pen instead of a mouse..
