When you have lot of maps in your catalog panel it's very fastidious to determine wich maps msut go to the garbage...

When you work at may user on same project, map title logic is not the same forn everyone...

It will be great to have a preview of the extend of the last saving map in tool tip to see the general context when ypur mouse over the title map in catalog panel.

This would be cool, but I bet it'd be expensive for the computer.

not sure, if you memorized when you exit the map or close ArcGIS Pro in a jpg

Hello @Rémy_Gourrat

Thank you for your feedback!

In ArcGIS Pro, if you set the pop-up for items in the Catalog pane to display more details:

and if your maps already contain a thumbnail in their metadata (either manually entered or automatically generated by the Indexer), then when you hover over a map in the Catalog pane, you will see its thumbnail:

By default, thumbnail generation for (applicable) items in a project is scheduled to happen once a week during a scheduled indexing, although you could adjust the frequency of the thumbnail generation during indexing in the Options dialog by editing the indexing schedule for items in various locations:

If this is not quite what you were looking for, could you please clarify more what you need?
