In ArcGIS Pro, individual symbol and style elements can be saved but there does not appear to be a tool for bulk "exporting" or "saving" of symbols. See help- https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/mapping/layer-properties/save-symbols-in-styles.htm
ArcMap has the “Export Map Styles” via customize > tools > export map style. This is very handy for exporting all symbols in a layer or map to a new style.
Something similar in ArcGIS Pro would be good.
This new functionality in ArcGIS Pro 3.2 allows users to save a style file and export only any classes within a layer, with the same name as the layer itself. This feature eliminates confusion and won't helps users to reuse symbols with the actual names of their respective class/subtype. Exporting classes with the same name of layer is unhelpful. Anyone try this update of Save a style file?
Below in my example all the subtypes' classes have been exported with the same layer name:
Yeah @Mai_Ghaly_Gazar I did notice the same, and also that when I ran the tool, it took symbols from every layer in my map, not just the one that I had selected.
This functionality is greatly needed for quickly applying styles to multiple maps that share a symbology on a layout.
@Mai_Ghaly_Gazar yes, it's doing the same for me and, like you, I find it relatively unhelpful. I would find it more beneficial if, instead of the number at the end of the name, it would put the symbol Value. So it could be in this format:
[LayerName]_[SymbolValue]
And example would be something like this:
