Please add a GPS toolbar with similar functionality to the ArcMap GPS toolbar. In particular, being able to connect to a USB GPS unit and auto-panning would be great.
When up voting this Idea, please add a Comment with information about how you use connected GPS with Desktop (ArcMap). How do you connect the unit, what type of work are you doing, and what functionality from the current ArcMap GPS toolbar do you use most? Is there important functionality missing from the existing toolbar that would be beneficial in a Pro GPS "toolbar"?
Implemented in ArcGIS Pro 2.7. See https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/arcgis-pro-gps-toolbar/idc-p/1010299/highlight/true#M14572
We would also like to see the functionality mentioned by Arne. This is in support of marine research aboard vessels that have multiple GPS sensors sending standard NMEA strings over a network in UDP. It seems that what we are requesting is included within ESRI's GeoEvent Server but it would be great if it could be incorporated within ArcGIS Pro. The main use case would be for individual researchers, who come onto the ships with ArcGIS Pro software, to be able to easily overlay real-time ship track information onto their own geospatial layers.

Please add the same functionality and ease of use as the older GPS tools in ArcPad like "capture point," "capture vertex," and "capture vertices." Collector for ArcGIS has this, I believe, but it would be great to have in ArcPro.
When the GPS Toolbar is finally added to ArcGIS Pro, it would be great if there was a GPSD port implemented instead of a COM port for NMEA Messages. (QGIS is able to do this since Version 1.8, but I need this in ArcGIS...)
GNSS/GPS support has been added to ArcGIS Pro 2.7.
