ArcCatalog's Set Data Source as a geoprocessing tool

Sometimes you need to change the datasource in a MXD file for a large number of files. When using this tool inside ArcCatalog, the program is completely unusable until the process finish.

One good improvement would be to convert this tool into a geoprocessing tool to be run in the background. This way you will be able to go on with your work
