In previous ArcGIS versions the length and area measurement was allowed even if the coordinate systems or map units were "unknown".
Please allow this again - as the measurents have a value although they are withoyut a unit !
I'm currently working on spatial analysis of point digitized in some ordinany photos. My units are thus simply "pixels" in an arbitrary coordinate system.
