Add individual files to favourites in ArcGIS Pro Catalog pane/view

Currently we can add Folders, Toolboxes, geodatabases, etc as Favourites in ArcGIS Pro Catalog. It would be good if we could add individual Layer Files (or other file types) AND even ArcGIS Online items to the favourites list as well (and not just the Portal favourites for ArcGIS Online as referenced here: Ability to mark a Portal item as a Favourite - Esri Community). This would be useful for staff that need a layer file infrequently and have trouble remembering where to find it. This problem is exacerbated by having some data in Portal and other data on our network.
